Back in his native country (Haiti), he rejoined his lifelong passion, the love of the poor and the fight against exclusion, where he founded the Father Hygord Amédée Foundation, which aims to provide care and support ("on a mental, moral, and educational basis") for young, adolescent, and aging individuals.
The Father Hygord Amédée Foundation is not a commercial company, but it can occasionally provide paid services for some of its activities such as education. It undertakes never to make people work and to act on all occasions according to the rules of good international conduct. She categorically rejects any corruption.
About Father Hygord Amédée,
We must mobilize against the poverty that attacks the humanity of our fellow citizens. I want to give courage and hope to the weakest to tell them that the time for audacity and imagination has come because it is man who creates misery and it is man who can also destroy misery .
Haiti, our country, is disfigured by unemployment and poverty and the blindest non-productivism. Generations of young people are abandoned, without hope, without a project, without a future.
Looted and demoralized, the country is rendered incapable of deploying its formidable human potential. Millions of families have become poor, graduates live in precariousness. The list of such shames is long. I believe we can put an end to all this. And I would like to associate myself with these cries and relay them to the face of the world and lend it my voice and my will.
Our people have a taste for the future. The new generations, like the other countries of the world, vibrate with the same desire to have a life worthy of their hopes. The primary mission of our foundation is to eradicate poverty and misery. Prioritize children and the elderly. Eradicate illiteracy and develop literacy. Open a new era of international cooperation.
Far from decline, marrying the taste of the great collective Epic of our history, our project is that of a prosperous Haiti and proud to be in the service of the common future of our fellow citizens.
